Building up the Momentum for our “Movement to Fitness” Program
Our Movement to Fitness Program is launched and our team of Mayo Certified Wellness Coaches, Physiotherapist / Fitness Experts, led by our Endocrinologist/Exercise Physiologist is all geared up to steer an exciting Fitness journey for our first batch of participants from a cross section of NGOs and Private Sector in Tanzania (age range : 30 – 62)
The Pre training Fitness Assessment revealed conditions such as Asthma, hypertension, diabetes, back pain, knee pain along with high BMI and high levels of body fat and visceral fat. Each participant now has a 3 months Running / Walking Plan as per his/her fitness level and will undergo 6 telephonic behavior change sessions by the Personal Wellness Coach who will motivate and empower him/her to drop unhealthy habits and adopt healthy habits for a long term healthy lifestyle.
We can’t wait to see progress after 3 months, when we will conduct the post-training fitness assessment.
